Disclosure is not optional. Anywhere you post these — video description, page, comment — Amazon requires “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.” The Markdown and HTML formats already carry rel="nofollow sponsored", which the rest of the Operating Agreement expects.

Saved links stay on this device. Every link you build is kept in this browser's storage — nothing is uploaded, so they will not follow you to your phone. Export writes a JSON file and Import merges one back in, which is how you move them across or keep a copy.

What touches the network. A full amazon.com URL already contains its ASIN, so its link is built here in the browser and nothing leaves the page. Short links hide the ASIN behind a redirect that a browser is not allowed to follow, so those — and product names, when that box is ticked — are looked up by a small alpha0 worker that stores nothing. Untick Titles and a full URL never calls out at all.
